Kids Pastor Description…
Competency Requirements:
We are looking for someone who will passionately lead our Kids ministry! The main responsibilities include leading our Kid Zone (Sunday AM Elementary kids), advising and directing our Kid Zoo (Sunday AM Early Childhood kids), directing AWANA (Wednesday night
program), and giving leadership to Upward Sports (Sports outreach program).
Chemistry Requirements:
We are looking for someone who will be a “team player” on an incredible team! Someone who will share his or her expertise in team meetings. Someone who will work together with other members of the team for the greater good of the Gospel. Someone who will
place his or her own interests below the mission of making disciples who make disciples.
Character Requirements:
Last, but certainly not least, we are looking for someone who maintains an “above reproach” testimony (1 Timothy 3) in his or her personal life. This person values honoring God in his or her lifestyle by choosing personal holiness over pragmatic pleasures.
This person is quick to resolve conflict, and he or she is committed to avoiding all “appearances of evil” that would negatively impact his or her Gospel influence.
