About Us:
Living Hope Community Church is a small, non-denominational community church in the quaint town of Ault, CO (just east of Fort Collins and North of Greeley).  We enjoy sound, biblically based, applicable preaching.  Our worship is a mix of new and traditional songs that are theologically sound.

As we transition into a new season, we are excited about the opportunities to grow our congregation and have a greater kingdom impact on the community.  We believe reaching children and youth is extremely important and hope to create a welcoming space for parents and kids to have a place to worship and grow.

Overview:
We are looking for a part time/bi-vocational pastor with a passion and vision to reach the people in the rural communities of Ault, Pierce, and Nunn.  The primary role is to preach and teach most Sundays and engage with the community.  The pastor should also be a strong leader with the ability to bring the staff together for discipleship, meetings, and planning of the service and church activities, with the ability to see strengths in others and delegate tasks as necessary.

Responsibilities:

·        Prepare and deliver biblically grounded sermons and support weekly worship services

·        Provide pastoral care, counsel, and prayer support

·        Lead and equip the congregation in discipleship and spiritual growth

·        Work collaboratively with church leaders, ministry teams, and volunteers

·        Hold regular leadership/staff meetings

Characteristics:

·        A passionate follower of Jesus Christ with an active relationship with Him, guided by God’s word, and evidenced by your life.

·        Elder qualified (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1:6-9)

·        Agreement with LHCC core beliefs about God, Scripture, Salvation, and The Church. (These can be found on our website under the “About Us” tab)

·        Have a heart for community presence and outreach with a desire to see all people come to faith in Christ and grow in spiritual maturity

·        A strong listener and collaborator who is humble and teachable

·        Have and develop the ability to balance all responsibilities and areas of life – including prioritizing time, delegating responsibility when appropriate and making time to recharge, reflect, and to renew one’s own spiritual walk.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in theology/ministry preferred, with comparable experience considered

·        Self-starting attitude that identifies, strategizes, and implements a vision for the congregation to get behind

·        3-5 years ministry experience preferred

Compensation & Expectations:

·        $30,000 annual salary

·        Approximately 20 hours a week

·        Eligible for pastoral housing allowance tax designation under IRS guidelines
