Preaching & Teaching ● Able to communicate biblical truth clearly, practically, and compellingly. ● Connects Scripture to everyday life with relevance and depth. ● Comfortable preaching to an intergenerational congregation. ● Values discipleship, spiritual formation, and equipping believers. Leadership & Vision ● Provides clear direction while honoring Parkside’s heritage. ● Skilled at guiding a church through transition with steadiness and hope. ● Collaborative leader who works well with elders, staff, and volunteers. ● Able to unify, inspire, and mobilize the congregation toward mission. Administrative & Organizational Skills ● Competent in managing staff, ministry systems, and church operations. ● Communicates clearly and transparently. ● Understands healthy church governance and shared leadership. ● Able to identify and implement new management systems to improve church operations. Preferred Experience ● Prior pastoral leadership experience in a church of similar size or complexity. ● Experience leading through transition or revitalization is beneficial. ● Demonstrated ability to grow ministries and develop leaders.
