At Hewitt Community Church we hold God’s Word as perfect and infallible, and we believe in accountability towards the Holy Spirit and one another. In our leadership team, we support one another through the presentation of ideas and in the openness of questions, concerns, and constructive criticism. We welcome fresh perspectives and work through change in a thoughtful, engaging process of discussion. Most importantly, we work together to ensure that all we do points to Christ.
We are currently in need of a part-time worship pastor; someone with a knowledge of congregational music who can lead the congregation and worship teams, vocally and instrumentally.
Duties include:
• Having a working knowledge of: Multitraks, ProPresenter, Apple IOS, CCLI Song Select, as well as a basic understanding of sound equipment.
• Assembling and publishing Sunday set lists.
• Creating and distributing monthly schedules for the worship team, including sound, media, and stage personnel.
• Recruit, audition, and train new team members.
Parttime hours include preparation, rehearsals, service times, and possible staff meetings.
