Your Collaborative Circle:

• Oversite Pastor: You will receive alignment and directive from your Oversite Pastor and work in conjunction with the greater worship leadership.

• Campus Pastor: You will partner closely with campus leadership to enhance the overall service experience, ensuring a seamless connection between the Word and the worship.

• The Serve Team: You are the primary guardian of the spiritual health of your volunteers, responsible for recruiting, training, and shepherding the hearts of those who lead our people.

Technical & Ministry Requirements

• Your Toolbox: High-level proficiency in voice, lyrics, and either guitar or piano. You must possess the skill of sound instrumentation to oversee the sonic texture of the entire band.

• Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years of ministry experience overseeing and leading worship in a high-capacity church service environment.

• Theological Soundness: A firm, unshakeable foundation in Biblical theology and doctrine, ensuring every lyric and transition aligns with Scripture.

• Digital Infrastructure: Mastery of Planning Center Online (PCO) for scheduling and coordination, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Exceptional Communication: Mastery of verbal and interpersonal communication, capable of public leadership and private shepherding.

Physical & Practical Foundations

The physical demands of leading at Zion City require (but not limited to) the following:

• Maintenance of excellent vocal health for consistent weekend performance.

• The physical stamina to play an instrument while leading.

• The capacity to stand or sit for extended periods during rehearsals and services.

• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and pushing/pulling motions.

• Frequent light lifting with occasional moderate lifting of equipment.

• The ability to drive a personal or church vehicle for ministry travel.

Zion City Church is a large, growing, multi-site church in the Tucson area.  Weekly attendance is 4000-5000 across all campuses.  This is a great position and opportunity for the right leader.  Competitive salary and benefits based on experience and opportunity.
