The Pastor We Are Seeking

We are seeking a pastor who loves God, loves His Word, and loves people. Our next pastor will primarily shepherd the English-speaking congregation while working cooperatively with the leadership of the Spanish-speaking congregation and the church's ministry volunteers.

Among the qualities and priorities we especially value are:

• Faithful, clear, and practical exposition of Scripture

• A commitment to prayer and dependence upon the Holy Spirit

• A passion for making disciples who make disciples

• The ability to identify, equip, and develop ministry leaders

• A heart for ministry across cultural and linguistic differences

• Pastoral care marked by humility, compassion, and integrity

• A desire to engage the wider Lexington community with the hope of the gospel

• A collaborative leadership style that values the contribution of elders and volunteers

The pastor who comes to Lexington will join a congregation whose members already serve generously and faithfully. We hope he will build upon that foundation by equipping people for ministry, developing new leaders, and helping the church recognize and respond to the opportunities God has placed before us.
