QUALIFICATIONS

Meets the biblical qualifications
Strong, exemplary marriage
Seminary training and 6+ years of ministry or marketplace experience preferred
Must be a proven and strong leader and developer of leaders
Ability to work on multiple tasks, be flexible, and work with little supervision
Commitment to and agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
Maintain regular office hours and be on-the-job 50 plus hours per week
Committed to life-long learning. Humble and hungry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Launch a church wide community group (CG) ministry from scratch.
Recruit, equip, and encourage CG leaders.
Build layers of leadership – a multiplier of leaders who equip leaders.
Launch Reengage and Merge Marriage Ministries
Recruit, equip, and encourage Reengage and Merge leaders.
Build out various ministry teams as needed (Welcome, Ushers, Parking, Assimilation, etc.)
Do the work of ministry: preach, teach, disciple, counsel, train, marry, bury, etc.
Regularly disciple church members and train them to disciple others.
Help build out a Residency/Internship program to develop leaders.
Assist the Lead Pastor as needs arise and available to perform other duties as assigned by the elders.
