The Minister of Worship and Arts at TPCC is someone with a deep love for Jesus Christ and His people; someone with a passion for music and the role it plays in congregational worship; someone who is able to thrive in a team environment; someone who is Spirit filled and who is able to lead and energize a talented team of musicians to continue a vibrant, contemporary expression of worship for a growing, evangelistic church. The position will grow into a full time ministry using music, drama and the arts for outreach and body ministry.

Turning Point was a church plant in 1990 and began as a downtown outreach to the needy and disadvantaged. The church enjoyed rapid growth to over 800 in attendance but went through some difficult transitions and now is in a place of new beginnings. There is a good team of nearly 200 people remaining with a new pastor and a new vision, “Loving God, Loving People.” With the exciting atmosphere similar to a startup church plant, Turning Point is looking to make a major impact on the 2.2 million population of the Portland / Vancouver metro area. TPCC has enjoyed some of the finest in music and worship ministry and looks to continue this standard as they move into the future.
