Northstar West Chester Children’s Coordinator

Sunday Morning Celebration 

• Direct the Sunday Morning experience for nursery through elementary (4th grade)

• Prepare classrooms for Sunday morning 

  • Set up tv’s and cue videos

  • Prepare tables with chairs and pre-lesson activity (coloring or game)

  • Set out supplies and curriculum

  • Manage volunteers with cleaning protocols for after service

• Assist with the child check-in process

  • Ensuring teachers are present before kids

  • Ensuring kids are in the right class

  • Getting roster iPads set up and in rooms, etc.

• Meet new families and address any questions/concerns 

• Occasionally facilitate Child Dedication on a Sunday morning (during service)

Weekly Hourly 

• Oversee preparation of curriculum and gathering of supplies for small and large group activities

• Modify and send out lesson plan to teachers (can coordinate with Loveland team)
           

Volunteer correspondence

• Respond to any needs that surface as a result of the Sunday celebration

• Provide avenues and availability of discipleship to volunteers 
    

Manage volunteer schedule for the area 

• Weekly email reminders 

• Changes in volunteer schedules, securing substitutes 

• Keep volunteer contact information updated in database
             

Staff and Team Meetings 

• Attend NS Children’s Ministry Team meetings twice a month

• Attend monthly NSWC Core Team meetings

• Attend NS Staff Meeting once per month (@ Loveland campus)

Assist in Training New Volunteers

• Identify and recruit volunteers into all areas of the ministry

• Ensure that regular training is scheduled and executed
