Job Description:
Full time position to provide production and technical support for the Internet Campus for worship services and special programs held in the Internet Campus Control Room. The Internet Campus Support Engineer is responsible to ensure that the AV and computer equipment related to the Internet Campus is set up and operational for services and to provide real-time professional services to operate the campus and resolve issues are addressed during services in an efficient and professional manner. This position requires knowledge of Webcast / Broadcast / Cable Television operations and engineering; live sound systems, live video systems, and computer operations.
BS in Computer Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Theater Productions, or Broadcast Engineering. One of more of the following certifications: CCNA (Cisco), MCSA or MCSE (Microsoft), A+ (computer hardware), CTS (infocomm), ACE (Adobe) certifications desirable. Must have ability to resolve complex technical problems related to a high-pressure Live Broadcast environment. This position also requires very significant weekly schedule flexibility to work primarily evenings and weekends with the ability to adjust schedule on short notice.
Other Skills:
•FLASH Encoding and distribution using the Adobe Flash Media Encoder and On-2 Live Flix.
•Computer setup and operation of computers to include dual display configuration, Windows7, and IP networking to include V-LAN, Subnets, Gateways, -VPN, DHCP, IP address management.
•Ability to capture and edit video using Adobe Creative Suite.
•Control room setup and operation to include camera setup and white balancing, shading, video switch setup and input alignment touch panel operation.
•Digital Audio (Ethersound to include Auvitran, Whirlwind, Digigram. Digital Consoles to include Yamaha M7CL and O1V)
•Digital Video (Broadcast Pix Slate 100, Doremi Labs video servers, SDI video.)
