Grace Church is an 8.5 year old multi-site church in two locations - Ann Arbor (est. 2009) and Canton, Michigan (est. 2015), with a third location launching this fall - committed to fulfilling the Great Commission through multisite, church planting and
social entrepreneurship (business as mission),
We are seeking a high capacity leader to launch a new Grace Church location primarily focused on reaching unchurched / dechurched students, young professionals, and families in East Lansing. The candidate will initially participate in a 6-12 month residency
at our original location (Ann Arbor) to learn and champion the DNA (mission, vision, values, systems, structures) of Grace Church before launching the new church near the campus of Michigan State University. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualties:
- Passionate relationship with Christ and demonstrated emotional maturity
- Proven track record of starting new ventures and multiplying leaders
- Highly entrepreneurial with strong work ethic, requiring minimal supervision
- Theologically trained and missionally-minded
- Effective verbal communication ability combined with winsome social skills
Church planting / campus pastor experience highly recommended...if not, church planting training / bootcamp, and/or church planting assessments results (ISA, Ridley, Multiply, Acts 29 etc) a must, if you want to be considered. Include results of any church
planting assessments along with any personality / strengths profile results (DISC, Enneagram, Myers-Briggs, StrengthsFinders, Portrait Systems etc).
