The Student Worship and Creative Pastor provides leadership and direction for worship and the planning and execution in both the Middle School and Senior High environments. This position will also assist the Student Pastor in day to day leadership of the Student
Ministry. The Student Worship and Creative Pastor will be expected to assemble and disciple worship teams for the various student ministry environments. This is a full-time salaried position, with an expected workload of 40 - 45 hours per week.
The Student Worship and Creative Pastor is responsible for the following areas:
Develop, oversee and lead CPSM worship ministry.
Recruit, train, and empower volunteer teams for programming and worship – tech team, worship vocals, worship band, and social media team. The primary focus will be the volunteer worship team. Team will be built to lead in the various weekly and annual worship
environments of student ministry.
Provide for the discipleship and evaluation of volunteer worship leaders.
Assist in coordination of all programs and events of student ministry.
Attend all events, camps, and conferences directed by the student pastor.
Meet regularly with key student ministry programming leaders to evaluate, plan, and train.
Develop the strategy, vision, direction and creativity for CPSM worship ministry.
Provide Leader development of CPSM worship ministry leaders.
Establish clear and measurable wins for the CPSM worship ministry.
Serve as a secondary communicator for CPSM environments.
Ensure that all worship elements meet the highest possible standards.
Responsible for discipleship of all CPSM worship ministry leaders.
Model Christ-Centeredness to students, volunteers, and church partners.
Make hospital and pastoral calls as needed.
Provide support to NextGen Team as needed and any other duties assigned by the NextGen or Student Pastor.
Create a visually appealing culture and environment for students alongside the Student Pastor and with the coordination with CPCC Technical Director.
Assist in serving on a central task force that is creating a church-wide event.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required:
Have strong vocal abilities, stage presence, and instrumental abilities (experience with guitar is required but a background in anything else will also help).
Passionate about engaging students with the Gospel through worship and programming
Ability to work on a team towards specific goals
Ability to work on multiple tasks, be flexible, and work with little supervision
Capable and influencing team leader with strong interpersonal skills
Familiar with current trends related to students, parents, and families
Self-motivated, strategic thinker, with strong artistic skills
3-5 years of ministry experience.
Proficiency with Orange Ministry Model.
