We are looking for a highly relational individual to serve and lead in our Connections Ministry. This ministry provides a warm and welcoming front door and consistent experience across all campuses.

 

The person who serves in this role will spend half of their time providing administrative support to the Connections Ministry Director and overall ministry (welcome centers, greeters, ushers, parking volunteers, and the assimilation (next steps) pathway) – with the other half of their time investing in lay leaders (recruiting, training, empowering) and serving/supporting live ministry (Sunday mornings and special events).

  • Excellent communication across all levels of the organization – staff, leaders, volunteers, ministry participants
  • Volunteers and lay leaders are recruited, trained, empowered and envisioned to the mission, vision, and values of Hill Country Bible Church
  • Effective coordination of ministry events, trainings, and classes
  • Administrative support to the Connections Ministry Director
  • Alignment and collaboration between the Connections Ministry and other ministries in the church; successful service as an active member of our overall staff team

 

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • The ideal candidate will be a mature follower of Christ who is aligned with the mission, vision and values of Hill Country Bible Church
  • Highly relational – loves people and engages them easily
  • Proven experience recruiting and empowering volunteers with at least 3 years’ experience volunteering/leading in the context of a local church; administrative experience is a plus
  • Gifts of administration and organization – strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Availability to work Sundays, Christmas Eve and Easter

  • Become members of Hill Country Bible Church within 6 weeks of hire
