Woolwich Wiscasset Baptist Church is an independent, conservative, Baptist church in Mid-coast, Maine with regular Sunday attendance of approximately 125. Our Board of Elders is seeking candidates for the position of Senior Pastor. The Senior Pastor serves
as the spiritual overseer of the church together with the Elders. The Senior Pastor is responsible before God for the general direction of the church, oversees the preaching, teaching and training ministry of the church, conducts visitation, interfaces with
the Board of Deacons, and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Elders. The Senior Pastor must have successfully completed at least a three-year certificate program at a Bible institute whose doctrinal statement is in agreement with that of the church. A
four-year degree is preferable. The Senior Pastor must be ordained by a church of like faith or actively working towards his ordination. Strong personal and professional references are required.
