? SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Oversee all safety protocols for children/youth ministries, and familiarize volunteers and staff with safety procedures, including: check in/out, Safe Sanctuaries, weather emergencies, fire, active threat, overnight trips, food allergies,
? COMMUNICATION: Communicate about events/programs in a timely and effective way to ensure confident participation of staff, volunteers, children, and youth.
? ENGAGEMENT: Know as many children, youth, and their parents by name as possible. Be visible to parents and young people on Sunday mornings.
? CONTROL DOCUMENTS: Control documents have been developed, updated, and distributed in a timely fashion. These include, respectively: children/youth ministry directories, children/youth ministry calendars, registration forms, volunteer directories.
? OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain regular office hours, work with other ministry staff, attend weekly staff meeting, attend Lead Team meetings, regular communication with Lead Pastor.
? CONGREGATIONAL CARE: Share congregational care needs with Lead Pastor as they emerge.
? BUDGET: Submit an annual budget request for Children’s and Youth Ministry in late summer.
