Job Description:

The successful applicant will know practical life application of biblical principles and have a deep love for Christ and the Word of God and lead by example. This person will demonstrate vision and passion for the spiritual development of youth in our community. They will have a willingness to learn and desire for personal development while being led by the Holy Spirt. This person will be a passionate, engaging leader full of integrity and accountability.  Additionally, the successful applicant will be a collaborative team member and will be respectful of the Pastor, staff, and congregation.



CO-DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRY                                                                                        



Experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred


$40,000 starting salary, negotiable based on experience and education


This position shall be responsible to:

  • Provide overall vision and leadership for the Youth Ministry (grades 6-12)
  • Work with pastor and staff  to help provide continuity of programming, ministry, and discipleship opportunities throughout the life of the congregation
  • Work collaboratively with the Co-director, staff, and adult leaders
  • Be responsible for the Wednesday night youth program & serve as the main speaker for the Wednesday night youth program
  • Select appropriate Bible-based curriculum for the Senior High age group (Wed & Sun)
  • Lead the High School mission trip
  • Engage in regular relationship-building, mentoring, and Christian discipleship with youth and volunteers
  • Work with the FEAST Committee to provide outreach events targeted at the youth of the community
  • Recruit adult volunteers for the youth program & provide quality  training for adult volunteers
  • Provide training and discipleship for the youth
  • Provide a youth ministry program throughout the school year and summer
  • Provide opportunities for youth retreats and/or conferences
  • Teach High school Sunday school on Sunday morning
  • Preach when requested in the senior pastor's absence & assist with pastoral duties (hospital visitation, funeral, etc.) as requested
  • Serve as a resource for the males of the youth ministry
  • Provide guidance and necessary information for those responsible for to the youth website and other such communications
  • Be responsible for van usage by the Youth Ministry and coordinate Wednesday night transportation
  • Be available for additional duties as requested
