Job Description:

Life Church is a growing Assemblies of God multisite church located in Indiana (  We are searching for a dynamic person to disciple kids (birth-5thgrade) at our Eagle Creek Campus. This person will direct a team of individuals committed to helping kids grow in their relationship with Jesus by cultivating an exciting, fun, caring, and engaging environment where God’s Word can change their lives.




  • Enthusiastically committed to drawing children to Jesus
  • Create an engaging environment that is inviting for children to learn about Jesus
  • Provide opportunities and resources for our children to share Christ with their peers 
  • Provide materials and avenues to partner with families to bring Christ into their homes
  • Develop personal relationships with families that will impact their journey with Christ 
  • Implement weekend programming and other children ministry programs
  • Recruit, equip, schedule and train volunteers to love and serve children in all ministry areas
  • Build and lead a strong team for the effective implementation of children’s ministry
  • Create value and provide care for the volunteers serving within the children’s ministry  
  • Keep volunteers and parents informed and encouraged, using digital reminders, social media, and other creative means
  • Effectively manage a children’s ministry budget



  • Mature and on-going personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Willing to grow as a Christ-following, pastor and leader
  • Exhibit a joyful passion for the children’s ministry position
  • Passionate to see kids and their families encounter Jesus
  • Teachable Spirit (grace-filled, humble, servant leader)
  • Team minded (Willing to align with the vision and mission of Life Church as it relates to children’s ministry)
  • Gifted at communicating with children and adults
  • Self-motivated
  • Quality decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed leadership, team building, and organizational skills



  • Pursuit of ministry education (either completed or willing to pursue)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ministry training is a plus
