Elizabethtown BIC Church, a Brethren In Christ Congregation of approximately 500 attenders in a small college town in Lancaster County, PA, is seeking its next Senior Pastor. Having recently completed a major sanctuary expansion and renovation, Elizabethtown
BIC is poised to move forward into its next chapter of ministry and is seeking a pastor who can lead with vision within a multi-staff environment.
Well-qualified applicants will have strong leadership and administrative gifts as well as excellent communication skills in preaching and teaching. Reliance on the authority of Scripture in all areas of life and ministry, clear evidence of a heart for God,
and a passion for the mission of Jesus are essential. The ability to articulate a vision for the love of people next door and around the world and to care for the spiritual needs of long-term attenders, as well as those not yet a part of the church, should
be evident as well.
Prior Senior-level ministry experience and at least a Master’s level education is preferable. Candidates must be or be willing to be licensed in the Brethren In Christ Church. If interested in applying for this position, please send a resume and cover
