The full-time position will oversee the entire youth ministry grades 6th through12th. Oversee a weekly Fusion service, events, outreach, volunteers and volunteer development. Creating community, culture and trust amongst teams. Work with other staff to develop
vision and implement strategies in-line with the mission and values of Living Hope Church.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Create a safe place for youth to find and follow Jesus
b) Monitor health, direction, and effectiveness of the Youth Ministry
c) Write and submit quarterly ministry plan
d) Project and maintain Youth Ministry budget
e) Identify, recruit and develop a Youth Ministry Leadership Team
f) Develop and implement student leadership opportunities
g) Identify, recruit, develop and oversee volunteers, for support, discipleship, transportation needs, hospitality needs and resources
h) Provide ongoing training and leadership development for youth and volunteers
i) Create community and relational opportunities through events and activities
j) Create and maintain systems that will sustain contact with students, parents, and volunteers keeping them informed and updated of ongoing actives.
k) Keep parents updated on ministry strategies and plans in a way that encourages partnership and involvement.
l) Partner with parents to disciple their children
m) Seek to integrate youth ministry into all phases of church life to create a culture that is intentionally integrational, striving to unite with and complement other church
n) Work all Department Special Events and own specific aspects of events when requested
o) Other staff duties as assigned by the Senior Leadership Team

b) A genuine passion for reaching teens in our surrounding community and to lead, inspire and equip students to discover and live out their God given potential.
c) Capable of creating and executing a long-term vision for Fusion Youth Ministry.
d) A self-motivated leader capable of casting and imparting vison for ministry, possessing relational skills with students, parents and staff.
e) Effective communication, interpersonal and administration skills.
