ARBORLAWN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH (www.arborlawnumc.org), is seeking a full-time Director of Student Ministries, to work with middle and high school youth and their families. Arborlawn UMC, a congregation which serves over 3,000 persons, is located in an
established and thriving community in southwest Fort Worth. Average worship attendance is approximately 850/week with a student ministry involvement of 45/week consistently, with 75+ youth active and a potential for 100+ in the near future. The ideal candidate
will build relationships with youth and their families, develop teams of volunteers, oversee other student ministry staff/interns, and empower parents. Components of the student ministry include worship, outreach, service, discipleship, curriculum planning,
equipping staff and volunteers, and integrating youth into the life of the entire congregation.
- Experience in Student/Youth Ministry or with teens in related field required; large church setting preferred.
- College degree required.
- Professional certification preferred: Christian Education, Student/Youth Ministry, or equivalent
- United Methodist theology and doctrine preferred.
