Job Description:


  • Main stage audio production planning, set-up, rehearsals, weekend/events FOH Engineer

  • Main stage sound systems maintenance

  • Florence main stage volunteer development, scheduling, and training

  • QC Oakley Saturday recording service to be “broadcast” to multi-site locations

  • Staff/Volunteer training for kids club AV/systems (includes training staff to train volunteers)

  • Maintenance/consultant for all kids club AV/systems




Education Requirements: High School diploma and work experience in the field.


Experience / Skill Requirements:

  • FOH Engineer should be fully versed in the operation of audio consoles, microphones (including wireless), monitor systems, personal IEM (in ear monitoring) systems, audio distribution, and be familiar with all aspects of sound reinforcement.


Critical Qualities:

  • Strong people skills with an emphasis on service. Provide technical support requested by musicians/speakers.

  • Have a good sense of mixing, musical balance. Ability to use sound equipment to create the appropriate environment for various events.

  • Able to effectively develop and lead a team of volunteers. Training, mentoring, building into their technical, personal, and spiritual lives.

  • Work effectively with campus pastor, producer and music leader to create environments that will encourage people to experience God.

  • Must commit to expectations detailed in the “I Promise” document, including using the bible as the ultimate standard of truth, practicing spiritual disciplines and pursuing personal purity.

Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to lift 75 lbs. Moderate bending, kneeling, climbing. Good physical mobility is required. Able to set in a chair for 2 hrs. at a time.
