Communications Project Manager

Overall mission: Use images and words to connect people with opportunities to experience Jesus. This is a full-time role that reports to the Communications Pastor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all communications department projects including:

  • Scope, goals, and deliverables

  • Timeline, budget, resource acquisition

  • Task assignment, and progress reporting

  • Shifting focus and priorities as needed

• Oversee all graphics and design

  • Create effective, quality graphic content with speed and efficiency

  • Format for various outlets including print, video, and web

  • Make effective use of available design resources including staff, vendors, and volunteers.

• Oversee all social media channels.

  • Schedule engaging, timely content for social media.

  • Proactively develop in-the-moment content for stories and trending channels.

  • Craft compelling and excellent written captions.

  • Excited to implement out-of-the-box ideas across multiple digital channels.

Required Experience and Character:

• Proficient in the following applications:

  • Basecamp

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Wordpress

• Highly experienced in leading digital marketing for an organization, brand or public figure.

• Maintain a life-giving spirit and attitude.

• Self-starter who can thrive with minimal supervision yet loves collaboration and teamwork.

• Obsessed with excellence in your writing, even when typing on your phone.

• Highly organized and flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
