Job Description:

Christ Community Church is looking for a Director of Operations.  Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or marketing required.  Master's degree in business administration, human resources, finance, or leadership preferred.  Strong financial aptitude and ability to oversee budget of $3.5 million.  Experience managing a facility of 50,000 square feet.


Essential functions:

Manage Administration Department- Hiring, developing, and supervising employees.  Oversee finance function of church and preschool (350 students), including income, expenses, payroll, taxation, record keeping, reporting, and maintaining adequate controls over accounting and finance function.  Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and manuals.  

Provide leadership and direction to Communications Department- supervise and coordinate internal and external communications.

Manage Facilities Department- schedule, train, and provide oversight to custodial staff.  Manage facility scheduling.  Procure and oversee vendor support for needed projects.

Provide leadership and oversee Hospitality and Community Café (coffee shop)- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Hospitality and Community Cafe employees.

Assist preschool leadership by providing support- Assist Preschool to create, review, and update policies to comply with Federal, State, and Accreditation standards.  Oversee financial procedures and policies of Preschool.

Support ministry leaders and other job duties as assigned- Serve on Management Team.  Attend Board meetings when needed.  Participate in Missions Administration as assigned.
