Camp Timberline is a Christian Sports and Mountian Adventure camp for kids ages 7-17 in the beautiful Estes Park, Colorado. Surrounded by the wild Rocky Mountians, Camp T's unique setting and unbelievable staff create a special place for a thriving community centered around the Gospel. Whether it is playing football, flying down our 700-foot zipline, or sunrise hiking in the majestic Rocky Mountain National Park, our goal is for each camper to experience the love and adventure Christ has to offer.

Camp Timberline is looking for college students who want to show the Love of Christ to Kids ages 7-17. As a Counselor at camp you will be assigned, with the help of two other counselors, to a cabin of 12 campers. Each counselor either coaches a sport or helps facilitate our High Ropes Course elements throughout the day. Counselors are the heartbeat of camp, creating an environment where each camper feels known and loved not because of what they do, but because of who their Father is, creating a very unique community centered on Jesus and the Cross. We want to use our not only our beautiful setting, but also our activities as a way to get kids away from the world and build true meaningful relationships centered around the Gospel.

We are looking for candidates who love Jesus and love working with kids. We are looking for candidates who are hard-working and flexible to an ever-changing schedule. Candidates need to be level-headed and calm in stressful situations. Candidates also need to be in good physical shape due to the amount of physical activity that happens each day.

The primary responsibilty of a counselor is to ensure that every camper who comes to Camp Timberline is known and loved. Counselors will directly oversee the safety and well-being of 12 campers with the help of 2 other counselors. Coaches will direct the activity of a specific sport with the help of another counselor. Ropes counselors will help run Mountain Adventure elements, and guide campers through difficult high ropes obstacles. Counselors will participate in all camp-wide parties, games and acitivities with their campers. Counselors will get the opportunity to form genuine relationships with campers. Counselors will also get the opportunity to share the Gospel and guide campers in how to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

  • Experience working with children or teens
  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Can facilitate spiritual development for each camper
