Director of Preschool Ministries
Cibolo Creek Community Church is searching for a talented leader to join our growing ministry as the Director of Preschool Ministries.
This position will provide leadership and be the primary vision caster for our preschool ministry. The director will oversee program development for children ages birth – preschool that is creative, relevant, fun, and spiritually nurturing. The director
will develop and maintain a system for ministry that supports the mission and vision of Cibolo Creek Community Church.
This position reports to the Director of Kids Creek.
Degree/Certification or 3+ years of experience in a related church ministry
Passion for children birth through preschool, and desire to help grow their faith and understanding of Jesus Christ.
Possess the charisma to be the vibrant leader and face of a growing ministry.
Possess a magnetic personality where children and adults alike are drawn to the director and the preschool ministry.
Stage presence to engage preschool kids in Christ centered biblical truths.
Proven track record of a self-starter.
Ability to identify, recruit and train volunteers.
Capable of effectively handling administrative details.
Strong sense of vision for outreach to families with young children.
The Specific Responsibilities of the Director of Preschool Ministries
Children’s Programs: Participate in Kids Creek Staff team weekly meetings to provide creative, high energy, spiritually charged programming for children attending services or events at Cibolo Creek Community Church.
Curriculum: Participate in identifying and implementing age-appropriate curriculum to teach children spiritual truths in creative ways. When necessary, the Director of Preschool will modify or write preschool curriculum to meet our program
Volunteer Leadership: Recruit, train, disciple, and schedule conscientious adults and teens to serve in fulfilling gift-based ministries to preschool children.
Safety & Security Procedures: Oversee an effective plan for ensuring the safety of all children in the care of Kids Creek, including the screening of volunteers, establishing and enforcing policies for a clean and safe children’s environment.
Communication: Develop communication with preschool families and volunteers about events, services, and spiritual lessons associated with Kids Creek including but not limited to speaking, blogs, videos, and promotional material.
Classroom Setup: Coordinate all classroom and large group activity setup for weekly Sunday services in our preschool classrooms.
Sunday Morning: Will focus energy on making the nursery, preschool small groups and large groups environments the absolute best in the church.
