JOB SUMMARY (Full-Time Salary)

Manage, control, interpret and communicate the fiscal operations of Cornerstone Family Church to provide information and guidance to the Executive Pastor, Senior pastor, and Trustees. This position is also directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function by serving Cornerstone Family Church in a cheerful attitude and Godly Spirit.  



  • Negotiate with vendors to provide the Church Employees with competitive benefits and for the purchase of all materials, supplies, equipment and services used

  • Develops and carries out budget plan and procedures for the Church and PCA

    • Monthly budget monitoring of expenditures and revenues

    • Communicates monitoring status

  • Develops and distributes W-2 annually

  • Leader in debt management and bond issuance to ensure most efficient use of bond capacity and borrowed monies

  • Supervise and maintain Cornerstone Family Church’s payroll operations to ensure the efficient handling of employee’s pay, deductions and benefits

  • PO’s, Invoices and Bills - Authorize payments or expenses; ensure proper ledger accounting number; ensure property inventory when qualified purchase is made

  • Quickbooks - Prepare and track monthly journal ledger entries; generate and manipulate reports

  • Human Resources - track employee vacation, sick, comp and bonus times; record attendance; prepare discipline documentation; termination;exit interviews; report and track WC injuries

  • Facilitates hiring; post open positions; create job descriptions and prepare offer letters

  • Apply knowledge of policies and procedures in the following areas:  Ethical Conduct, Leadership, Employee relations, Compensation, HR policy and procedure, and Recruiting

  • Ensures annual reviews are conducted, and make recommendations to management if improvement on CFC policies, procedures and practices are needed

  • Maintains all Employee Handbooks and communicates changes to staff of personnel policies and procedural changes

  • Maintains compliance with Federal and State legislation pertaining to all employee matters
