Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Facility Manager, who’s responsibility will be to provide well maintained, safe and secure facilities, in order to meet the needs of the ministries and vision of Davisville Church.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct and schedule our custodial staff, mechanical/maintenance techs and cleaning and grounds services to fulfill their responsibilities.

  • Ensure a standard of excellence is maintained in building appearance, cleanliness and room set-ups

  • Recruit, develop and lead a Facilities Team that would engage volunteers in caring for our facilities

  • Maintain liaison with contractors and vendors servicing and maintaining the facilities (Landscaping Alarm system, Snow removal, Electronic Doors, HVAC, Fire sprinkler system, Elevator, Trash removal, Fire extinguishers, Security, Carpet cleaning, Parking lot, Parking lot lighting, etc.)

  • Operate and schedule the electronic door, HVAC and alarm systems according to facility use

  • Provide support for setup and breakdown of scheduled church functions and fee events

  • Coordinate with custodial staff facility usage for all events that meet on campus ensuring a noticeable level of cleanliness

  • Oversee the use and maintenance of church vehicles

  • Maintain facility keys and security codes. Coordinate all key and code requests with Executive Pastor

  • Participate in and keep record of all required inspections.

  • Assist Ex. Pastor in being a first responder to any emergency maintenance and alarm needs 24x7

  • Maintain inventory of maintenance and custodial tools and supplies. Ordering/purchasing as needed

  • Regularly inspect buildings and grounds for maintenance. Coordinate and conduct routine maintenance operations as deemed necessary and as requested. Oversee completion of related projects through means of contractors, staff or volunteers and insure expectations have been met.

  • Submit a monthly ministry report to the elders and be a part of the annual budget formation process.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Core Attributes, Competencies and Skills:

  • Required: A minimum of 3 years experience in facilities management or related role. Strong leadership and team building skills. Experience working with multiple vendors and contractors to complete work. Excels at project management. General knowledge of mechanical systems and an eye for custodial excellence. Ability to accept and support new policies and practices when introduced. High school diploma or higher and the ability to lift 50lbs of equipment and move around as required.

Employment Status: Full Time / Exempt: Sunday – Thursday but with flexibility for events as required (i.e. funerals)
