The Central Student Pastor must be an experienced leader, with excellent relational and communication skills. The candidate should be passionate, hard-working, teachable, fun and enjoy being part our fast growing community. They should possess organizational and administrative skills to carry out the day-to-day operations of the Student Ministries program. The Central Student Pastor will be responsible for coordinating all components of the weekly services as it relates to the Student's programs as well as other campus related activities as assigned. They must be committed to leading in all areas of student ministry and partnering with the Family Ministry Team as a whole for the success of kids, students and families.


  • Oversee and manage all aspects of student's programing including small groups, mid-week gatherings, camps, mission trips and special student events.
  • Partner with Central Kids Pastor to develop and implement Family Ministry philosophy
  • Travel campuses overseeing and managing the execution of elements related to Students in support and direction of Student Pastors at the campus level
  • Create and implement new elements within the student’s areas and/or programming
  • Set specific goals and objectives for CT Student Ministry
  • Coordinating and leading Student Pastors at the campus level.
  • Liaison for Family Ministry with Connections Pastors and other CT staff teams as it relates to student’s programing
  • Communicate necessary information to campus staff and lay leadership from Campus Support and Leadership Team meetings.
  • Responsible for developing strong interpersonal relationships with members, leadership and staff. Must be able to delegate, motivate, influence and inspire trust and loyalty with campus staff and Serve Team members.
  • To exhibit servant leadership and fully support the vision, mission and purpose of Cross Timbers Church
  • To have a teachable spirit with those in authority over them and to not speak against them.
  • To continually seek God and trust His direction by consistently studying the Bible and praying for His guidance.
  • Able to laugh, enjoy work and not afraid to address conflict using the biblical model (Matthew 18)
  • Oversee the management and execution of student experiences
  • Stay informed on current educational methods, materials, promotional ideas
  • Follow up with CT families and guest families/students as needed
  • Communicate with the campus team
  • Recruit, train & equip serve team leaders
  • Includes but is not limited to oversite of the processing and maintaining background reports for Serve Team leaders
  • Growth and development at the campus level for Serve Team leaders

  • Past record of good leadership, sound judgment, integrity and commitment to the vision, mission and core values of CTCC
  • Demonstrates a passion for the ministry which is in agreement with CTCC vision, mission and core values
  • Is able to develop team leadership, supervising effectively a multi-staff with specifically assigned roles
  • Understands the vision and culture of CTCC and has the ability to think strategically, effectively communicate, lead and motivate the staff
  • Clearance of a criminal background check

Prefer 4 year Degree


Must be flexible and realize that this role will include many hours outside of regular office hours and weekend service times.

All staff members are required to attend monthly All Staff meetings. Vacations and personal time are to be scheduled to not interfere with attendance. Exceptions must be approved by manager.

All staff members are required to work Easter services and the week leading up to and including Christmas services; the schedule for these services can vary according to the campus needs and the yearly calendar.


Position requires bending, stooping and stretching to file, and occasional lifting of boxes weighing up to 25 pounds. Work is generally performed indoors, but may involve limited exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
