Job Description:

About the Organization:

Twelve church members began meeting in a park near University of Houston Clear Lake in June 2008, marking the beginning of Life Point Church.  These members moved from the park to Ross Elementary in July of that year.

In December of 2008, services were moved from Ross Elementary to the current building.  During 2010 and 2011, the church increased the use of the building by expanding into additional available space. A second Sunday worship service was added in 2011, and in 2012, the church office moved into its current location.

God continued to work in and through Life Point Church as a building campaign. "Renovate" began in June of 2013 to remodel and enlarge the sanctuary. In November of 2013, a full-time Children's Ministry Director was added. June 2014 saw the addition of a part-time youth pastor.  Then, in August of 2016, a full-time youth pastor was added to the staff.

In December of 2016 the Children's Director stepped down and in January of 2017, Sunday services were reduced to one.  In March 2017, the Senior Pastor stepped down.  Since that time, the church has continued to be Elder lead.

Life Point Church is about making disciples and building families.  We dream of seeing a church that leads people from all walks of life to love God and love one another, people who are broken and hurting experience hope and healing (Freedom), families growing together in their faith. We want to be a place where marriages grow strong, where kids can have a blast while learning God’s truths in fun and creative ways, where parents find encouragement in the journey as well as solid, practical ways to lead their children in the faith.

Life Point strives to be a place where people experience authentic community and meaning and fulfillment in life by understanding that they are uniquely designed by God to fulfill a grand destiny. Ultimately, we dream of seeing people come to Life Point Church just as they are and experience true life transformation that leads to freedom.
