Kensington Church is a (13,000) person, gospel-centered movement at eight locations. We operate as one-team, one-fight. Position Description:

Responsible for all systems in auditorium and building. Partnership with Clinton Production Staff to provide preparation, scheduling, and training. Event Support with key role as Audio Engineer (or Lighting Designer) and always with the goal of training and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in live production

• Experience in all areas of live production. Experience with audio, lighting, video, and stage systems and their implementation. Must be familiar with digital platforms. Background in system

processing and routing is required.

• Affirmation of the mission, vision, values, of Kensington.

• Ability to recruit, train, and lead emerging leaders and volunteers.

 

Responsibilities:

Service / Event Support - Provide coverage for Weekend, Midweek Services and all special events; Primary discipline is Audio Engineer (or Lighting Designer); Partner with Production Director to execute stage turns.

 

Team - Schedule all turn team volunteers; Partner with Clinton Staff in recruiting, developing, and discipling the volunteers;Training of each operator throughout facility in how to use the equipment to accomplish the task required;Train someone at least 50% of the times while scheduled in a task.

 

Systems Maintenance - Audio - patching, console layout, storage and inventory; Lighting - rep plot, show specific lights, console layout, storage and inventory; Video - cameras, switcher, playback devices, projectors, monitors, and full signal path; Stage - all gear and storage inventory; partner with IT to ensure that all networking is    efficient and helpful.

 

Systems Preparation - ensure that all technical systems are ready to be used with excellence; Partner with Production Mgr to ensure pre-production preparation for every discipline.

 

Innovation - Partner with Central Production Director to always look for ways to improve systems and/or process. Always pursuing the greatest intersection of stewardship and creativity.

 

Team Participation - Engage actively in all scheduled meetings- Staff meetings, production meeting, direct report meeting with Clinton Production Director.
