Who We Are

LifeHouse Church is a Strategic Partner with North Point Ministries ( Our vision is to create a church where unchurched people love to attend. Our mission is to invite and lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We have grown to around 1,200 people each week, which includes about 150 middle and high school students and around 350 children birth through fifth grade.  We have been in a new 52,000 sq ft facility for about a year and a 1/2 now.


Our Location & Area

LifeHouse is located in the rural community of Van Wert, Ohio. (Pop. 11,000)  We are conveniently located 1/2 hour from Lima, Ohio and Fort Wayne, Indiana where you can find an abundance of shopping, restaurants, and things to do.  Van Wert has an incredible school system and is a solid community that is family friendly



Core Job Responsibilities

  • To build and lead the Service Programming Department which includes creative programming, production, graphics, sound, video, music, lighting, and media.
  • Enlist, equip and encourage a strong team of volunteers.
  • Maintain an engaging and relevant adult environment
  • Lead the SPD Team while being a champion for the overall vision and mission of the church

  • A desire to work alongside a gifted staff team to create a church that unchurched people love to attend
  • Self-motivated and committed to an authentic, growing relationship with Christ
  • High value of excellence and the ability to think creatively
  • Experience in church leadership that clearly demonstrates your ability to build, motivate, equip and lead a growing diversity of high capacity teams and people
  • Seeks to understand trends and new and exciting ways to create a relevant adult environment
  • Excels in developing systems and planning ahead 
  • Relationally connects with volunteers 
  • A working knowledge the North Point Ministry model is preferred but not mandatory


  • Consideration will be given on education and previous ministry/job experience and performance
