Crossroads Church, Northglenn Campus is currently looking for a new team member for the crucial role of campus pastor.

Crossroads is a dynamic, outwardly focused church, meeting at three campus locations. It began as an idea bathed in fervent prayer on May 13, 1960. Three families in the Northglenn area met with representatives from three sponsoring churches to begin an American Baptist Church in Adams County. Over 50 years of ministry later, God has built Crossroads into a vibrant body of believers serving North Metro Denver and beyond. One church, with one vision, to serve people toward and connect people to Jesus.

The Northglenn Campus is our original campus started in 1961. It began with a few families and is now over 500 in attendance spread over 3 Sunday services (one traditions and two contemporary services). The campus is located on 3 acres at the corner of 104th Ave and Huron St.

The City of Northglenn is a modern growing city on the front range of the Rocky Mountains with a current population of 40,000 people. It is located just north of Denver. The city is racially diverse, with a growing Hispanic and immigrant population. Over the next decade, the projected growth is 30,000-40,000 people in the surrounding area. Overall, the north Denver metro area has less than 10% of the population attending a local church.

Crossroads is passionate about turning unchurched, consumer-minded suburbanites into active believers in Jesus and participants in God’s Kingdom work. It’s a body of believers with a community-wide reputation of being a church that serves through collaboration with other churches, non-profits and government entities.

This position will require a person who is a high level leader, who has a pastor’s heart and an ability to lead a multigenerational, multicultural church. Team building is essential, as well as being an effective communicator. The right candidate must be able to competently lead a campus of 500-700 people, be able to have an intelligent conversation with a mature follower of Jesus as well as well as a non-believer. This individual should have demonstrable experience in casting and fulfilling ministry vision along with implementing strategies that create community.

The role of campus pastor is primarily a three-fold function. (1) Leader. They lead their campus staff, volunteers and worship services. (2) Overseer. They oversee their campus operations – outreach, ministry and strategies. (3) Relationship Builder. They are the shepherd of their campus. They invest time, counsel, service and prayer into the lives of the people at their campus.
