Cornerstone Baptist Church is a multi-site church located in Eldridge and DeWitt, Iowa. The Youth Pastor position is for our Eldridge campus. Eldridge, Iowa is a growing bedroom community just north of the Quad Cities, an area of 400,000 people located
halfway between Des Moines and Chicago. This area has the benefit of being less than 6 hours from many major metropolitan cities such as Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, and the twin cities of Minneapolis/St.Paul. We have all
the major amenities of a large city with the benefits of small-town living.
We are looking for a full-time Youth Pastor. We offer this individual the opportunity to live out their passion for God and for youth. The ideal candidate will have a clear calling and competence in discipling youth, will walk alongside parents, and will
contribute to the overall direction of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
The mature believer called to this position will have the privilege of leading and discipling teens of all ages at Cornerstone, including both Jr and Sr High (7-12 grades). This person will cultivate our youth to be spiritually passionate and will have
a heart for the lost, both locally and globally. The candidate will work alongside 4 other pastors, as well as the Director of Children’s Ministry (birth through 6th grade), in ministering to the body of Cornerstone. While the role will primarily focus on
ministry in Eldridge (and the North Scott Community School District) there will also be an expectation of helping to develop youth leadership at our DeWitt campus 15 miles to the North of Eldridge.

- Mentoring the Youth Leader in DeWitt and volunteer leaders in Eldridge
- Organizes and plans effectively
- Excellent character, beyond reproach
