Timberlake specializes in hiring young, talented staff members and developing them into world-class leaders. The high school ministry has been strong in recent years with approximately 160 students gathering each week.

About the Position:
This is a key position in an influential church. While many churches in the region have declined or ceased to exist—Timberlake has experienced eight years of steady growth. The High School ministry has been one of the stronger ministries at TC, and it is
the desire of the leaders to see this momentum continue.
The High School Pastor will be responsible for the coordination, recruitment, development, implementation, promotion, evaluation, and growth of High School Ministry at Timberlake Church, while successfully operating in a results-driven environment. This
position will oversee all aspects of High School Ministry, including weekend services, mid-week small groups, camps, retreats, and leadership development of all High School Ministry programs.
What We're Searching For / Qualifications:
The following describes many of the characteristics of the ideal candidate for the High School Pastor:
An undergraduate degree is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate for this position will preferably have a minimum of two years in full-time student ministry experience, in order to successfully execute the responsibilities of the role. They will be highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirited
with organizational competencies to scale. Alongside an exceptional ability to communicate, the prospective candidate will possess a strong leadership ability with an aptitude for recruitment, development, and shepherding a team of volunteers. They will additionally
acquire a thorough understanding of, and show proven experience with, Deep and Wide and Simple Church models.
- A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ as demonstrated through the personal choices, behaviors, and lifestyle.
- A strong desire see students in the region find and follow Jesus for a lifetime.
- A humble, team player committed to the success, health, and growth of Timberlake Church above personal ambitions.
- This person will make the discipleship commitments to weekly worship and tithe to Timberlake Church.
- The ability to receive honest feedback, and make adjustments or corrections if necessary.
- A willingness to be held accountable to goals and objectives.
