Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Open/close help desk requests while managing monthly analytic reports
  • Provides technical support, training and guidance to all staff and volunteers on applications, network access and security
  • Design, test, deploy and support a standardized desktop/laptop image consisting of the operating system and supported applications
  • Must be current on relevant technology and trends with an eye on continuous improvement
  • Assists in defining and shaping end user documentation and processes
  • Develops others in IT best practices as it pertains to their role
  • Provide advanced ticket resolution
  • Ability to travel throughout the SF Bay Area to remote campuses/offices

Position Qualifications

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of hardware or software issues for laptop, desktops and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of Mac/Windows/iOS/Android preferred
  • 4+ years computer experience with MAC/PC
  • 2-4 years Network experience
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP administration
  • Enterprise wireless configuration and administration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and can demonstrate root cause analysis
  • Microsoft Office & Office 365 Administration (Exchange/Outlook)
  • DropBox, Box, Avaya, Windows Server and VmWare a plus
  • Must be teachable with excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail, great follow through and ability to interact with a variety of people: staff, volunteers and contractors
  • Works with dynamic team environment with constantly changing priorities
  • Passionate about delivering the best IT experience possible to our users
  • Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty or 2-4 years of relevant experience


Work Schedule

Standard work week is 40 hours/week, some `evenings and weekends as required
