Eagle Creek Church is excited to announce its search for a Youth Worship Leader. Eagle Creek is a thriving multisite church, experiencing year after year growth since it was planted by our Lead Pastors in 2004. Eagle Creek’s average attendance exceeds 1250 on a typical Sunday, reaching unchurched and dechurched families in our community with relevant biblical preaching and engaging contemporary worship. ECC is seeing individuals and families empowered to become all that God has created them to be. The church has recently broken ground on a new 35,000 sq ft building, is in good financial health, and employs a dynamic staff. 



Eagle Creek (Lee's Summit Campus) is looking for a Part-Time Worship Leader who will take full ownership of the youth worship ministry. The worship leader will be responsible for leading worship at the Wednesday night Elevate Student services and leading Monday evening rehearsals. The worship leader will plan youth services in collaboration with the Youth Pastor.


The successful candidate will:

  • Be experienced in modern worship with the ability to play acoustic guitar.

  • Be a gifted vocalist.

  • Have a teachable spirit.

  • Have an understanding of A/V systems.

  • Have an understanding of Planning Center Services.

 The Youth Worship Leader will be responsible for all areas:

  • Teams: In collaboration with the Youth Pastor, the WL will recruit, train and roster the youth worship team. 

  • Services: The WL will lead worship for Elevate youth services on Wednesdays.

  • Systems: Develop and Manage Planning Center Online and all of it’s functions.

  • Equipment: Personally, as well as train teams, to care for, use, and maintain all equipment used for worship.

  • Rehearsals: The WL will hold a rehearsal to prepare the band for each Service. 


Total hours: 5-7 per week. 

This position pays a minimum of $100 per week, but can be negotiated based on experience.
