Best candidates will align closely to Trinity beliefs and values.  Most importantly, candidate must be spirit-filled , have a prayer language and meet ALL of the qualifications listed.   Candidates that do not meet the qualifications may not be considered.  Ideal candidates should be familiar with the Lubbock area and economy.   

Candidate affirms that Scripture defines the roles of male and female and Romans 1:21-27; Romans 1:24-32 condemns the homosexual lifestyle. (1 Cor. 6:9-20; Eph 4:1-11, 5:3-5)

POSITION SUMMARY:  The 5/6 Children's Leader will oversee implementation of various creative religious elements used in 5/6 Student Ministry. Coordinate and administer an  effective and comprehensive spiritual ministry in all areas of the 5th & 6th grade Ministry. Disciple leaders and volunteers involved in this ministry. Participate in the recruitment and training of volunteer 5/6 Leaders; be an active participant in children’s discipleship and spiritual growth. This includes but is not limited to Sunday services, Wednesday nights, and Special Needs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Religious studies, Theology or related field; 2-4 years related experience. Ordained as a minister/pastor that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 2-4 years experience in working with children and youth; ability to understand and relate to children and families.  Ability to lead in program design and implementation.
