E5 Church Staffing is excited to announce an opening for the position of Children’s Minister at First Christian Church in Carrollton, Georgia.
Success in this role will be measured primarily by the continued growth of the children’s ministry through young families. This success will be evidenced by greater involvement of ministry volunteers in this ministry and by a renewed focus on seeing new families
becoming engaged with the church through a unified outreach effort of the church.
First Christian Church has experienced consistent growth in the past five years. They recently finished updating the children’s area and have created intentional children-specific learning environments. Through current and future volunteers, the vision would
be for this ministry to have a “VBS feel” every week, so that kids beg their parents to come back next week. The ministry is currently using the “Orange” curriculum.
The leaders at First Christian Church are aggressively attacking their next growth barrier through strategic staff additions which include both this role and a brand new full-time youth minister. The Children’s Minister at First Christian Church will first
and foremost be a person with a strong background of volunteer recruitment and a conviction for reaching the lost in the local community. He/she will have experience creating learning environments that specifically engage children and young families. He/she
will have experience in a church setting and be motivated by the permission/expectation of failing forward. The salary range for this position is $35,000-46,000 DOE.
To apply for this role please send a resume with a current family picture and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. DO NOT APPLY THROUGH THE CHURCH STAFFING WEBSITE. This process is expectedto move quickly (4-8 weeks) and qualified candidates will
be notified that they are moving forward within 1 week of receiving their materials. If you have not been notified within 1 week, unfortunately you have not been selected to continue in the process.
