Status: Full Time

Salary: $70,000-$85,000 (depending on experience) + benefits.

Purpose of Position: To provide vision, direction, development and management for all aspects of our ministry to youth from seventh through twelfth grade, including supervising paid staff and lay leaders/teachers, volunteers, curriculum, programming, facility, budgets and planning.

Set in the midst of beautiful and sunny Anaheim Hills, California, Kindred is known for it's excellence in expository preaching, it's enjoyment of multi-generational body life, it's emphasis on lay ministry and it's excitement for 'what's next in God's plan for us'.


As a congregation of over 1500 people we have been strategically placed in the 2nd largest metropolitan area in the US. Our campus is situated on 60 acres of land less than 30 minutes from Disneyland, 30 minutes to the beach and 1 1/2 hours to skiing and snowboarding.


We are looking for a man called by God to prayerfully and strategically lead and shepherd Jr. & Sr. High students and staff while coming alongside parents in their efforts to disciple their own teens.




Teaching & Discipleship

He has a track record of making and maturing disciples through the ministry of the Word and discipleship.


Ministry Integration

He has a robust Philosophy of Christian Education that will integrate with the Pastor of Children's Ministry and the Young Adult's Pastor to equip the next generation of disciples by creating a seamless flow of Christian education and discipleship for those in nursery through college.



He has proven experience providing vision, direction, development and management for all aspects of youth ministry to teens from seventh through twelfth grade. He has a track record of encouraging and coaching paid staff, and facilitating the recruitment, training and encouragement of volunteer leaders and teachers. He has overseen ongoing strategic development of curriculum, programming, facilities, budgets and planning.


Public School Outreach

He has spearheaded efforts to form campus ministry outreaches in local Public School Systems.


Parent-Teen Discipleship

He is skilled at coming alongside of parents by providing resources and encouragement to help them fulfill their calling to be the primary spiritual trainers of their own teens.


Pastoral Care

He is a mature shepherd who has offered pastoral care for teens and families. It has included hospital visitation, counseling, family interventions, baptisms, etc.


Programming & Events

He has planned, organized and lead both regular (Sunday School, Small Groups) and special events and programs (Retreats, outreach and service events) to evangelize and disciple teens.



He has established and overseen policies and procedures that enhance ministry excellence while ministering grace to the receivers. He has experience with managing supplies, furnishings, screening of volunteers, training and annual ministry budgets.



He has a Master’s Degree from an Evangelical Seminary.



He has 5 Years of Experience in Youth Ministry (Spiritual Leadership, Discipleship, Teaching & Pastoral Care)
