Cornerstone Family Church is a modern church in St. Cloud, Florida, with contemporary worship and biblical teaching.

The vision of Family Life Ministry at Cornerstone Family Church is to help children, students, young adults, and families Pursue Jesus and Build Community.

Warehouse is our healthy and growing middle and high school ministry, built around biblical teaching, small groups, strong relationships, and an engaged volunteer team. We are seeking a Student Pastor / Ministry Director who has a passion for discipleship, a heart for students and families, and a desire to develop the next generation of Christ followers.

The next leader will build on an established ministry foundation while receiving leadership support, encouragement, and opportunities for continued growth within our Family Life Ministry team.

We welcome candidates who have demonstrated ministry leadership ability and are ready to take the next step in their calling, whether currently serving as a pastor, ministry director, associate leader.

The Role

The Student Pastor / Ministry Director provides spiritual and leadership oversight for Warehouse, working closely with the Family Pastor, Family Life staff, and volunteer team.

This position offers meaningful ownership, leadership, and creativity within the shared vision and direction of Family Life Ministry, along with opportunities for professional and spiritual development.

Ministry Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Warehouse on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights as one unified student ministry.

• Recruit, train, shepherd, encourage, and develop adult volunteers and small group leaders.

• Build meaningful relationships with students through biblical teaching, discipleship, prayer, pastoral care, and spiritual guidance.

• Equip students to develop a strong biblical foundation, grow in their faith, build authentic Christian community, serve others, and share the gospel.

• Develop and equip communicators to teach biblical truth clearly and effectively.

• Partner with parents and provide spiritual encouragement, communication, and pastoral support.

• Lead ministry planning and administrative systems in collaboration with Family Life staff.

• Oversee scheduling, attendance, registrations, budgets, communication, safety, and weekly ministry preparation.

• Develop and lead summer, outreach, and seasonal ministry opportunities that support relational discipleship.

• Provide support to the Young Adult Ministry alongside existing leaders.

• Participate in the broader pastoral and ministry life of Cornerstone Family Church, including occasional church-wide ministry and congregational care opportunities.

Qualifications & Characteristics

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a clear testimony of faith, and evidence of spiritual maturity and continued growth.

• Demonstrated experience serving and leading in middle and/or high school student ministry in a paid capacity.

• Two or more years of student ministry leadership experience preferred, although candidates with less experience and demonstrated leadership potential will be considered.

• Agreement with Cornerstone Family Church's doctrine, mission, values, and ministry direction.

• A genuine love for students and a desire to help them develop into lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university.

• Biblical, theological, or ministry-related education preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong biblical understanding and the ability to communicate and apply Scripture faithfully.

• Demonstrated ability or strong potential to recruit, develop, equip, and shepherd volunteer leaders.

• Strong communication, organizational, planning, and follow-through skills.

• Ability to communicate biblical truth in a clear, relational, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.

• A humble, teachable, dependable, emotionally mature, collaborative, accountable, and team-oriented approach to leadership.

• Willingness to receive mentoring, continue developing ministry skills, and grow as a spiritual leader.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $57,000–$67,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
