Our Church and associated K-8 and Early Learning Center schools are blessed with a prominent location in a thriving suburban area north of Columbus, OH. We are seeking a Senior Pastor who will lead all three organizations in realizing their potential to impact the local community and the world. The Senior Pastor serves as the primary leader of the organizations and is responsible for the organizations’ success. The ideal candidate will be a values-based, encouraging, spiritual, moral, and ethical leader who has a passion for serving the Lord and teaching others about the word of God.  S/he will strive toward living a life that demonstrates a personal relationship with God.


Our Church desires to ignite a passion for Jesus in the hearts of people that is so contagious it will change the course of our lives, our families, our community, and our world. Our mission is to lead people into a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating environments where participants are encouraged and equipped to pursue three vital relationships: intimacy with God, community with people in the Church, and influence with those outside the church.    



-          Communicate the heart of the church and the leadership vision of all three organizations and translate that vision into executable strategies

-          Plan worship services and events that are based upon, and at all times are consistent with, the church’s statement of faith and enable staff to successfully coordinate and carry out those services and events

-          Personally develop and deliver biblically-based, dynamic, relevant messages and oversee sermons delivered by pastoral staff to continually develop their skills

-          Oversee pastoral staff, develop them as leaders of the church, and ensure they have the skills and resources necessary to fulfill their roles and responsibilities to deliver highly impactful environments for young children, students, and adults

-          Develop strong staff teams and retain high-performing individuals by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance and continually teaching

-          Further the financial stability of the church and schools

-          Cultivate relationships and promote open communication amongst staff, church members, parents, teachers, and students to support stability and retain church members, school families, and staff

-          Continue to grow the church through relationships with church members, school families, and within the broader community

-          Foster an impactful, high-functioning life group (small group) ministry 

-          Perform or oversee pastoral care duties, including, but not limited to, weddings, biblical counseling, funeral services, home or hospital visits, missions, etc.

-          Facilitate recurring board meetings and church business meetings to report out on established accountability measures



-          Ability to handle multiple responsibilities across three complex organizations

-          Strong written, verbal and presentational communication skills

-          Ability to analyze complex issues and make tough decisions with a high degree of emotional intelligence

-          Visionary-thinker with ability to align teams

-          Ability to lead, preach, and teach the bible

-          Ability to build relationships within the church, schools, and the community



-          Minimum of ten (10) years of pastoral experience in a large church setting, with at least five (5) years as the Lead Pastor with proven track record of growing the church, preferably at a church with an associated school and/or early learning center

-          Bachelor's degree, preferably from an accredited seminary or bible college; Master of Divinity or its equivalent preferred

-          Ministerial License and Ordination
