About Grace:
We are an evangelical community church located in Northern Colorado, seeking to know Christ and make him known in Loveland and across the globe. Please check out our About Us Page, the Who Is Grace document, visit our Youth Page, and listen to a recent Sunday service.
Our youth group is a mid-sized group, with average attendance between 15-25 at regular youth meetings, but with group sizes reaching 40-50 at large events. We have a mix of students in public, private, and home school demographics that represent a variety of backgrounds and family contexts. We value community, fun, service, and God’s word as foundational pillars of our group.
About the Position:
As the Youth Coordinator, you will...

• Oversee youth ministry for 6th through 12th grade students at Grace Community Church.
• Teach at regular weekly meetings: Wednesday evening middle school group and Sunday evening high school group. This involves a 20-30 minute lesson, preparing discussion questions/answers for breakout groups, and if applicable, other presentation materials including power point slides, extra written materials, etc.
• Administrate youth calendar, activities, events, and communications. This includes monthly newsletters, managing event sign-ups and rosters, communication with parents and students, and ensuring students/families are informed and up to date on ongoing youth activities.
• Plan and facilitate youth events which average 2 a month. These vary in scope and intention (overnighters, game nights, service opportunities, holiday events, camping, outreach, etc.) and require flexible planning and coordination in rhythm with other youth activities and regular meetings.
• Lead and organize an existing youth leadership team made up of both adult leaders and student volunteers who help facilitate regular youth meetings and oversee special events and activities. The youth leadership team leads breakout groups at regular meetings and helps to set-up, run, and supervise special events to ensure student engagement and safety.
• Work directly with the Children’s Ministry Coordinator to help facilitate youth volunteers, both for regular ministry activity on Sunday morning, but also for special event needs and VBS volunteer coordination.
• Collaborate with staff during the week with various miscellaneous duties including announcements,
holiday/event planning and setup, internal/external ministry coordination and communication, etc.
