About the Role
North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church (NOEFC) is seeking a full-time Pastor / Director of Worship Arts to lead, shape, and elevate our corporate worship gatherings. Working in close partnership with our Senior Pastor, the Pastor of Worship Arts will craft Christ-centered services that thoughtfully blend contemporary and traditional elements to help our congregation encounter the presence of God.
The ideal leader brings strong vocal and instrumental skill, sound biblical theology, and a heart for discipling volunteer musicians, vocalists, and AV team members into thriving ministry teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Worship Planning & Leadership: Design, coordinate, and lead weekly corporate worship services in collaboration with the Senior Pastor, arranging qualified team coverage when absent.
Team Development & Discipleship: Oversee, mentor, and disciple worship team members, cultivating both musical excellence and spiritual growth.
Production & AV Coordination: Partner with our Audio/Video leads to ensure high-quality live production (sound, projection, lighting, and streaming).
Special Services & Cross-Campus Coordination: Lead worship for special events (Christmas Eve, prayer gatherings, funerals) and coordinate with our Elyria campus worship ministry as needed.
Qualifications & Competencies
Vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear testimony of faith.
Proven proficiency in vocal and instrumental leadership with an appreciation for diverse musical styles.
Strong relational and organizational skills with experience building and equipping volunteer teams.
High comfort level integrating modern worship technology, media, and sound systems.
A collaborative spirit, high integrity, and alignment with the mission of NOEFC.
Salary & Benefits
Salary / Housing Allowance: $50,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience.
Retirement / Pension: 12% church-funded contribution.
