Springs Outdoor Church is a vibrant, Spirit-filled Christian community located in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida. Since its founding in 2011, the church has gathered outdoors in a local park, creating a unique worship environment where people experience God in the beauty of His creation.
With a weekly attendance of approximately 250-500 (seasonal) people, Springs Outdoor Church has become known as a welcoming place where people from all backgrounds can encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and build meaningful relationships. Our services are energetic, family-friendly, and centered on passionate worship, biblical teaching, and authentic community.
The church is led by founding pastors Russ Winn and Angelia Winn, who have a heart for reaching the community and raising up the next generation of believers.
Our mission is simple:
Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.
We are committed to creating an environment where people can encounter the presence of God, grow spiritually, and live out their faith in everyday life.
Our Story
Springs Outdoor Church began with a vision to create a church where people could experience worship in a natural outdoor setting. What started as a small gathering in a park has grown into a thriving congregation with a strong sense of family and mission.
The church has spent several years pursuing permits and planning for the next step in its journey—constructing a permanent outdoor pavilion that will allow the ministry to continue growing while preserving its unique outdoor worship identity.
Our Worship Experience
Services at Springs Outdoor Church are relaxed, welcoming, and Spirit-led. Worship is vibrant and contemporary, and sermons are practical, biblical, and encouraging.
Our outdoor setting creates a casual atmosphere where newcomers feel comfortable and families feel at home. Children’s ministry is offered during services, providing engaging and safe environments for kids to learn about Jesus.
Ministries
Springs Outdoor Church offers ministries for people in every stage of life, including:
Children’s Ministry (Springs Kids)
Small Groups and Bible Studies
Community Outreach and Missions
Special Events and Seasonal Celebrations
The church places a strong emphasis on community and relationships, believing that spiritual growth happens best when people walk through life together.
Our Vision
Looking ahead, Springs Outdoor Church is launching a capital initiative called “A Time to Build,” which will fund the construction of a permanent outdoor pavilion designed to seat approximately 600 people with additional overflow capacity.
This new space will allow the church to expand its ministry while maintaining the unique outdoor environment that has defined the church since its beginning.
Our Community
Bonita Springs is a growing Southwest Florida community located between Naples and Fort Myers. The area offers beautiful beaches, outdoor recreation, and a strong sense of community, making it a wonderful place to live, work, and serve in ministry.
