Shalom Life Church is located in beautiful Pinckney, Michigan—a welcoming community surrounded by lakes, open land, and year-round recreational opportunities.
Shalom is celebrating 50 years of ministry, but the energy around the church feels more like a church plant. Over the past five years, the congregation has grown from approximately 67 people to nearly 300, recently launching a third Sunday worship service to make room for continued growth. New people are arriving, new leaders are emerging, and there is a genuine sense that God is opening the door to an exciting new season.
Our mission is simple:
Love God. Love Others. Serve the World.
Rooted in our Lutheran heritage, the Apostles’ Creed expresses the heart of our shared faith. We are deeply committed to the authority of Scripture, the grace of God, and the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. We want to make it as easy as possible for people to explore faith for the first time, return to the Church after time away, and discover a community where they can genuinely belong and grow.
Our vision is to be a church where faith feels like home—a place where every generation follows Jesus, experiences the fullness of God’s peace, and carries His love into our community and the world.
Shalom is relational, creative, welcoming, and unafraid to try new things. We work hard, laugh often, and genuinely enjoy doing life together. Our beautiful and strategically located campus provides tremendous opportunities for worship, community engagement, family ministry, and continued growth.
Shalom is led by Dan Quagliata, an experienced ministry leader who has served growing and multisite churches ranging from 500 to 1,200 people. Dan leads with vision, energy, and a deep commitment to developing others. His highly collaborative approach welcomes creativity, shares meaningful ministry responsibility, and places as much value on who people are becoming as on what they accomplish. Dan is also the founder of Thrive Ministry Coaching, which helps leaders thrive, churches grow healthier, and ministries make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.
We are building a team of leaders who are humble, hungry to learn, and smart with people. We value self-starters who take initiative, work collaboratively, follow through, and share our passion for helping people encounter Jesus.
If you are energized by growth, enjoy building something meaningful, and want the opportunity to make a lasting difference alongside a healthy and mission-driven team, we would love for you to consider serving at Shalom Life Church.
