Forest Park Church is a growing, multi-generational church located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Our mission is simple and clear: help people follow Jesus one step at a time. Everything we do flows from that calling.
We believe the church should be a place where everyone is included, everyone is connected, and everyone is becoming whole. We are not a perfect church, but we are a deeply committed one—committed to authenticity, grace, spiritual formation, and meaningful relationships.
Forest Park is led by a collaborative staff team that values humility, trust, creativity, and shared leadership. We place a strong emphasis on volunteer culture, leadership development, and creating environments where people feel welcomed and known. Our worship experiences are thoughtful and engaging, our teaching is practical and biblical, and our ministries are designed to meet people where they are while inviting them to take their next step.
Our congregation reflects a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and spiritual journeys. Some are new to faith, others are deeply rooted, and many are rediscovering what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. We value thoughtful theology, honest conversations, and a church culture where questions are welcomed and growth is encouraged.
Elizabeth City is a coastal North Carolina community offering a slower pace of life, strong family values, and close proximity to the Outer Banks. It’s an ideal setting for someone seeking meaningful ministry, healthy rhythms, and long-term investment in a local church and community.
We are prayerfully seeking leaders who are spiritually grounded, emotionally healthy, team-oriented, and passionate about helping people grow. If you are looking to serve in a church that values people over programs and progress over perfection, Forest Park Church may be the place for you.
