About:
The Ypsilanti Evangelical Friends Church is a Christ-centered church nestled in the countryside of Ypsilanti, Mi. Established in 1835 the church is situated on 8 ½ acres of land and located just 20 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor and 40 minutes from downtown
Detroit. Over the years we have expanded and now have 3 buildings, and most recently, in 1993, we added a spacious fellowship hall to our facilities. On our property we have built a parsonage, youth house, ball field, sanctuary/fellowship hall, and, because
of God’s blessings, we are debt free. Currently our Sunday morning church attendance is averaging 75 people, with potential for significant growth. Our current Pastor has been shepherding us for the past 30 years and will be retiring at the end of June, 2018.
We are a church committed to the authority of Scripture, Bible based teachings, prayer, meeting throughout the week to worship together, and serving our community. We serve our community through the following ministries: a weekly movie night, food pantry,
coin laundry ministry, homeless bag distribution, a yearly VBS program, and other such outreaches.
