Doctor Lawrence L. Jerideau, Senior Pastor of Livingword Family Worship Center was born January 20, 1957 to Samuel and Lilly Jerideau of Charleston, South Carolina. He attended Green Chapel Baptist Church under Rev. Abraham Gold and Pastor C.L. Ford. He served in various capacities such as: Usher Board Member, Youth Choir President, and President of the Charleston Baptist Association Youth Congress, Church Clerk and Sunday School Teacher. After Graduating from River High School he received a music scholarship from Livingstone College Salisbury North Carolina. After 2 years he changed his major to Theological studies there on campus at Hood Theological Seminary upon completion of his studies he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He moved to Charlottesville, Virginia where he met Cynthia Mae Jackson. They were married and resided in Virginia for many years. While living in Virginia, Lawrence continued his studies at the University of Virginia, under the leadership of Pastor V. Farrar there he received the baptism in the Holy Ghost. He was called to the prophet ministry in a Pentecostal camp meeting in Ashland, Virginia. Pastor W.M. Ward and Pastor W.R. Shamrock laid hands on him and imparted the work of the ministry into him with signs and wonders following. While employed with the Food Lion Corporation, he was led by God to do missionary work in Haiti. Upon returning to the States, he was licensed to preach under the leadership of Pastor Terrell. He served faithfully under Pastor Terrell until he was led by the Holy Spirit to return to Charleston, South Carolina. He was employed as a records clerk for Charleston county records center. While working for the county pastor Jerideau resumed his Theological training. The Jerideau's joined Victory Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Pastor Robert Coaxes. Four years later the Jerideau's later branched out and started Gospel Tabernacle COGIC. After the death of Pastor Coaxes, Pastor Jerideau also became the Pastor of Victory COGIC and Gospel Tabernacle. Pastor Jerideau completed his Theological Seminary training, receiving his Doctoral degree from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, North Carolina in 2004. Upon presenting his credentials to Bishop Johnson, the Prelate of the South Carolina Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ and Mother W.M. Rivers, they opened Livingword Family Worship Center, and the soon to open Word Bible Institute. In June 2010 Doctor Jerideau began The Seed Of Abraham Christians Men's Fellowship. and WORD BIBLE INSTITUTE Also Pastor Jerideau recorded His first worship C D SONGS IN THE KEY OF WORSHIP.
