INFORMATION FOR SENIOR / LEAD PASTOR CHURCH OVERVIEW Church Description Randall Baptist Church was founded on June 8, 1826 and is a community of followers of Jesus Christ in the heart of Williamsville, a beautiful colonial suburb of Buffalo, New York. We are a church with a total of 6 full and part time professional and administrative staff. We have an active mid-week program involving a Thursday Family Night, which includes music enhancement for both adults and children. We have numerous outreach ministries including MOPS, Route 55 for seniors, Summer DVBS, Super Bowl Party and a Christmas presentation called the Pilgrimage that in 2010 attracted more than 1990 attenders. Randall is financially sound with no indebtedness. It includes an 800-seat auditorium, gym, separate youth center, outdoor pavilion, ball diamond and more than adequate parking space. Position Overview Working closely with the elders, the senior pastor will be responsible for providing clear, unifying, strategic leadership to all areas of Randall Church. The senior pastor will oversee a team of associates with the following mission expectations: • Develop staff and leaders to bring out the full potential of our congregation • Develop connect groups that will create tentacles into our local community • Leverage our Sunday services as a significant worship and motivational experience • Develop and encourage a biblical learning experience that enhances the Sunday services • Implement systems that allow us to grow • Embrace the church DNA CANDIDATE OVERVIEW Qualifications • Track record of healthy ministry success in a multi-staff environment • Solid Biblical understanding with a MDiv or equivalent preferably from an accredited school • Minimum of 10 years in a multiple staff leadership position with at least 5 of those years as a senior pastor or pastoral associate in a large multiple staff church. • Highly effective oral and written communicator with a strong gift to exegete the Scriptures. • Healthy family life • Strong decisive leadership and organizational skills with the ability to delegate Candidate Instructions To apply for the position please send each of the following items in the same email using either a DOC or PDF format to search@randallchurch.org.
