Windermere Presbyterian Church seeks to reach our growing community with the life changing truth of God’s Word. We are committed to spiritual growth, faithful discipleship, and living out biblical teaching in our daily lives so that our ministry reflectsthe gospel we proclaim.
We are a biblically grounded, gospel-centered congregation that values strong preaching, meaningful opportunities for discipleship and community, and a traditional style of worship. Our church family is warm, welcoming, and deeply connected, with members who are actively involved in ministry and eager to serve.
Congregant participation and support is central to our identity. In addition to Bible studies offered, the Hands 4 Christ Quilting provides quilts to Coastal Horizons, a Prayer Shawl Ministry to anyone in need, Family Promise, Meals on Wheels, Vigilant Hope, Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, and our partnerships with local, university, and international missions, we seek to share Christ’s love with our neighbors and the world.
We are prayerfully seeking a pastor who shares this vision—someone who loves Scripture, leads with humility and warmth, and will join us in strengthening a church that is spiritually grounded, mission minded, and joyfully engaged in serving Christ.

Our unique coastal location allows us to welcome retirees, middle-aged adults, young families, and college students. We strive to make every person feel valued and at home. We also place special emphasis on nurturing our youth asthey grow into the next generation of Christian leaders. Our plans for a replacement for a new youth director is in process. Wehave Vacation Bible School open to our community along with summer camps for our preschoolers.
Our building serves as a gathering place for groups that strengthen and support the community, including a local Boy Scouttroop, AA, and community Bible studies. During the week, a portion of our facility is home to Windermere Presbyterian Preschool, serving children ages 18 months through 4 years.
Prayers are central to our ministry. We maintain an email prayer information line, provide prayer request cards for members andvisitors, pastoral care visiting ministry along with a monthly church newsletter, and other ministries that nurture faith and fellowship.
We would like a pastor who will joyfully join us in the ministry God is shaping at Windermere Presbyterian Church. We hope for an energetic and enthusiastic leader who brings strong preaching skills, a sense of humor, and the ability to teach biblical truth through relatable life lessons and meaningful storytelling. We value a pastor who is a good listener—approachable, outgoing, and easy to talk with—someone who offers wise counsel and compassionate guidance when needed. Our prayer is for a pastor who will walk with us, challenge us, and lead us with humility, clarity, and hope as we continue becoming the church God intends us to be.
Our candidate should be formally trained and knowledgeable in Bible and theology. We expect our next pastor to be both a spiritual shepherd and an organizational leader.
A pastor that is willing to honor healthy traditions while guiding necessary growth and change carefully. We seek a pastor who will help us connect with younger families and children, welcoming them into the life of our congregation and encouraging their participation. We hope for a leader who can inspire, support, and nurture ministries that help these families grow in faith and find a spiritual home within our church.
A leader who inspires all ages of the congregation to continue to grow in their faith, become more involved, and joyfully follow Christ. Someone who encourages, uplifts, and models the comfort and goodness that come from walking with Jesus will be an excellent fit for our church family.
